Retirement of Professor Graham McCartney

At the beginning of January the IMPaCT Centre for Doctoral Training bid farewell to Professor Graham McCartney, who has decided to retire. Graham is retiring from a long career as a Professor of Materials Processing at the University of Nottingham.

We would like to thank Graham for all of his hard work since the CDT’s inception in 2014. We have enjoyed working with him and we wish him all the best for the future.

Although Graham will be sadly missed, his replacement Dr Katy Voisey will be stepping into Graham’s shoes as the director for the CDT at the University of Nottingham. The CDT would like to wish Katy a warm welcome and we look forward to working with her.
